Turmeric – Golden Milk

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic Medicine Golden Turmeric Milk is known as a versatile remedy.

 

Recently athletes especially appreciate the benefits of turmeric against inflammation of all kinds (in particular muscle inflammation) and free radicals. In addition, turmeric helps both with muscle growth and muscle regeneration.

Important: Turmeric is fat-soluble and therefore needs fat or oil to be processed by the human body. Plus, the piperine contained in pepper increases the intake of turmeric active ingredients by a factor of 20.

Golden milk – recipe

 

250 ml
vegetable milk (almond milk, oat milk, etc.) or normal milk
1 tsp
Turmeric Spice Chai (Ingredients: Turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, Matcha, cardamom, nutmeg and clove.)
1 pinch
pepper


Maybe agave syrup to sweeten.

Preparation:
Put about one third of the milk in a saucepan. Add 1 tsp Turmeric Spice Chai and stir well. Add a pinch of pepper and heat briefly on the stove. Gradually add the remaining milk until all the ingredients have dissolved. Finished.

Tip for gourmets:
For anyone who wants to enjoy a creamier Golden Milk, replace milk with cream at will.
